Creativity Spell
A simple candle spell to ignite the spark of creativity within you. I originally wrote this for Imbolc, but this spell can be used whenever you need it. Or you can make it part of your creative altar, or -routine!
Goal
To draw inpiration and creativity towards you
You need:
- a candle in a colour you associate with the creative spark
- a quiet spot
Find a quiet place where you can comfortably sit and see the candleflame. Light your candle.
Sit in front of the candle for a while, watching the flame dance, grow and flicker. Visualize that the sparks of the candle are the sparks within you. Igniting, growing, warming and rising.
Say the following spell:
Of creativity and motivation.
I stoke my inner spark into a fire,
Let the flames grow ever higher.
Inspiration flows through me,
As I say, so shall it be."
Now sit there a moment longer, enjoying the light. Feel your flame growing and the inspiration flowing.
Create! Either do it now and let the candle burn up, or light the candle whenever you start crafting/writing/singing/whatever!
